Fatty liver disease is one of the most prevalent chronic diseases worldwide. It won't be wrong to say that right now, there is a worldwide epidemic of Fatty liver disease. The prevalence is increased in Type – 2 diabetes mellitus which is around 70% and morbid obesity is around 90%. This correlates with the rising incidence of obesity and metabolic syndrome in the western world.
