The tannin found in almond peel prevents the body from effectively absorbing the healthy fats and protein found in the nuts themselves, making soaked almonds the superior option. Almonds’ peels come off easily after being soaked, and the nuts’ nutrients are released more readily. Eat better to have better health. We all know a good brain resides in a good body.
